As a relatively young organisation, the Primary Care Trust has some policies in place whilst others are still being developed in a number of areas. New policies are developed by the Directorate responsible for that area of service, draft policies are then consulted upon with the most appropriate people and organisations, prior to approval by the Board or delegated group or director.
