Consultation on Community Change proposals

“We have been working with the County Council’s Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) to ensure an appropriate level of patient, public and staff involvement and we are very much committed to a comprehensive and good quality consultation on these important proposals.

We want the public, patients and our staff to have an opportunity to debate the assumptions which have been used in bringing forward the change proposals and the proposals themselves.

We also want people to influence how the proposals would be implemented by making suggestions on how the quality of services can be improved or how greater patient and staff satisfaction can be achieved.

Following discussions with the OSC today, the Health Community will now firm up plans for an extensive 12 week consultation. This will get underway in mid June. Further details about consultation information and events will be made available as soon as possible.”
