PCT Annual Meeting
25/09/2006
Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Primary Care Trust (PCT) will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday 26th September at Hesters Way, Community Resource Centre, Cheltenham, 6.30pm to 8pm (tea and coffee available from 5.45 pm)
It’s an opportunity to find out more about what the local NHS has been doing to help improve health and develop services for the future.
There will be presentations from local managers and clinicians on services aimed at improving the life experiences of older people, people with heart failure and diabetes and services for people living in one of Cheltenham’s regeneration areas.
Chair of Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Primary Care Trust, Ruth FitzJohn, said:
“The meeting will provide an insight into the excellent work that NHS staff have been involved in during the past year and over the four years of our PCT. Everyone associated with the PCT, whether our own staff or partners in the community, has contributed enormously to the development of services resulting in very real improvements to the health of local people.”
The Annual Meeting will include a presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts, a review of the past year and plans for the year ahead. There will also be Robert Kingsland Awards for outstanding service in the NHS (see separate release).
