NHS NVQ Awards Evening 2006

On Thursday 29th June 2006 members of staff from Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Primary Care Trust (PCT) were invited to a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Awards Evening held in Cheltenham.

The event was organised by the PCT to congratulate 18 staff who work in Community Nursing, Community Hospitals and at GP surgeries across the PCT area and who have passed their NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Care.

It was also an opportunity for the Primary Care Trust to acknowledge all the hard work, from, not only those staff who had obtained their award, but also the input from the NVQ Assessors to obtain this achievement.

Ruth Fitz John, Chair of Cheltenham and Tewkesbury PCT presented Award badges to the successful staff. She congratulated and thanked them. She said:

“For each individual the achievement of the NVQ in Care represents a huge personal effort over the course of a whole year. The new skills, knowledge and understanding they gained is already benefiting our patients, and it is so pleasing to see this learning acknowledged with such excellent results as these hard-earned qualifications”
