Meeting Dates for GPs and Practice Staff


A number of meetings are being held for GPs and practice staff over the next few weeks. These meetings will be an opportunity to talk about Primary Care Trust status and its implications. Topics will include:
- what Trust status means and how it differs from being a PCG
- the stages involved in moving towards PCT status
- how GPs, pratice staff, attached staff and other primary care workers can be involved
- the wider changes to the NHS in Gloucestershire.

The dates for these meetings will be as follows:

Tues 13 February

Weds 21 February

Post Grad Room, St Paul's Medical Centre

Thurs 22 February

Information for patients and the public

Formal consultation will take place for members of the public during early summer. A number of meetings will be held to ensure that the public are fully consulted on these changes and that all views can be taken into consideration before an application is made to the Secretary of State for Health.
